What is Code.GreySparling?
Code.GreySparling is the Grey Sparling collaboration site for sharing PeopleSoft enhancements and code. This site was created to allow members of the PeopleSoft ecosystem to share enhancements with other organizations. The goal is to both provide a forum for posting useful code and continually improving this functionality on an ongoing basis.

How You Can Benefit
In addition to downloading useful projects, you can do the following:
- Enter tickets to report bugs and suggest enhancements
- Review the code history to understand what has been changed with each new revision and understand exactly what is contained in each project prior to applying it.
- Make enhancements and submit those changes to allow for continuous improvement of these items.
The site is built with the same technology that we use for Grey Sparling Version Control and Release Management for PeopleSoft, although the implementation is slightly different due to the public nature of the site. We also invite you to learn more about the underlying open source projects, Trac and Subversion.
Getting Started
Each piece of functionality managed by this site is organized as a project. Each project has its own homepage which describes the features, how to download the PeopleSoft objects, the code history for that project, and links to allow you to report and review status of incidents related to that piece of functionality. To see the most recent activity, check the Timeline view.
Get Registered
Registered users get access to additional features on the site.
- Edit existing tickets.
- Collaborate with others by adding comments to existing tickets.
- Add yourself as an interested party to learn when a ticket gets resolved.
- Open new tickets.
- Found a bug in some of the code that is posted? Want to request a new feature? You can open a ticket to do just that.
- Get read-access to the underlying subversion version control repository.
- Be considered to have development access for posting your own code (or collaborating with others on existing projects).
Self-service registration is now available. Being a RegisteredUser gets you several additional benefits that make Code.GreySparling more useful.
